The Seal of Purity

A black rubber stamp pressed onto a white paper, creating a seal with a golden border.

The journey begins with a seal of integrity. Hand-poured in our studio, this gold wax emblem is your guarantee that the essence captured within our archival pigments remains untouched.

The Ritual of Handling

A pair of white gloves placed on a surface with a printed sunset scene featuring an orange sky and silhouette of trees.

Every piece is inspected under gallery-grade lighting. We invite you to join the preservation process, to ensure the surface remains pristine, we include a pair of archival cotton gloves - the same used by museum curators - for your personal installation. Using the enclosed archival gloves prevents the transfer of natural oils, ensuring the museum-grade surface remains pristine for generations.

Beyond the image lies the proof. Your acquisition features a unique aluminum authenticity tamper-proof seal and a unique identifying seal that matches your physical Certificate of Authenticity, securing its place in your legacy.

Stewardship & Installation

Preserving the Essence

Every Id Est impression is a museum-grade archival work, crafted for longevity. To honor the soul of the piece and ensure its visual impact within your space, please observe the following protocols for stewardship.

  • The Ritual of Handling: Always utilize the provided archival cotton gloves when removing the work from its glassine wrap. The natural oils from skin can interact with the pigment over time; treating the piece with a curators touch ensures it remains pristine for generations.

  • Luminous Placement: Drone photography thrives on light, yet its greatest enemy is the sun. To prevent UV degradation, avoid hanging your acquisition in direct, prolonged sunlight. For the most dramatic effect, we recommend overhead gallery lighting or a dedicated art spotlight to pull the “liquid” textures from the canvas.

  • Environmental Harmony: As a heritage canvas, the piece is sensitive to extreme fluctuations. Ideally, the work should live in a climate-controlled environment (60-75°F with 40-50% humidity). Avoid placement in bathrooms or directly above high-heat sources like active fireplaces.

  • Maintenance & Care: Should dust accumulate, do not use water or chemical cleaners. A light pass with a clean, dry microfiber cloth or a soft-bristle goat-hair brush is all that is required to maintain the depth of the image.

  • The Cleat System: Your piece arrives with a pre-installed wooden cleat on the reverse side. A matching wall bracket and all necessary heavy-duty hardware are included in the packaging.

  • Precision Placement: The French Cleat allows for slight lateral adjustments, ensuring your piece is perfectly centered even if your measurements were a fraction off.

  • Weight Distribution: Unlike traditional wire hanging, the cleat distributes the weight of the canvas frame evenly across the wall, providing maximum security for your investment.

  • Flush Mount: This system creates a high-end floating effect with zero “top-lean”, sitting tight to the wall surface as intended.

Note: For optimal safety, we recommend using the included wall anchors if a stud is not available for your desired mounting location.
